Job Overview:
The Real Estate Appraisal Commercial Lease Administrator is responsible for managing and administering commercial lease agreements for real estate properties. They will ensure the accurate and timely review, negotiation, and preparation of commercial leases, while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Commercial Lease Administrator will work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties to facilitate lease documentation, resolve lease-related issues, and support the real estate appraisal process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyze commercial lease agreements to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
2. Collaborate with real estate appraisers, brokers, and legal teams to negotiate lease terms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
3. Prepare, review, and amend lease documents, including lease agreements, addendums, and extensions, while maintaining proper documentation.
4. Liaise with property owners, tenants, and property managers to address lease-related inquiries, disputes, and issues promptly and effectively.
5. Conduct regular audits of lease documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to lease terms and conditions.
6. Update and maintain lease databases, records, and files, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
7. Coordinate and assist with property inspections, leasing transactions, and lease renewals as required.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to commercial leasing and property management.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure lease-related activities align with organizational goals and objectives.
10. Participate in the development and implementation of lease-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lease administration or a similar role within the real estate industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of commercial leasing principles, practices, and legal requirements.
4. Strong understanding of real estate appraisal processes and techniques.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate and influence lease terms effectively.
6. Proficient in lease document analysis and drafting, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple lease agreements simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving lease-related issues.
10. Proficient in using lease management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
